Since the amount of sunlight falling
on a flat plat solar collector is limited and the cost
per unit area of a flat panel is fixed, the cost of
solar power is fixed at about $8.00 per watt. Concentrating
sunlight reduces the cost of silicon by the same factor
as the degree of concentration.
We are designing systems consisting
of 160,000 4 kW modules to produce utility scale solar
power, but we will also operate one module to provide
power for your home or business.
We sell solar generated power for
as little as $0.05 per kWh to you whenever the sun shines.
We work with you to create environmentally friendly
electrical power from the sun. We build, own and operate
integrated solar power plants to produce electricity
for you. We build Solar Plants of any size from 4,000
Watts to 500 million Watts in size and larger. We install
them anywhere the sun shines. We sell you the power
at a competitive rate. We build own and operate the
plant in a total turnkey operation. You merely buy the
power we produce at a preset price whenever the sun
shines.
If you are a smaller user, and cannot use all the power
generated, when the sun shines and if you are connected
to the power grid, we will arrange to sell unused power
to your local utility to offset the cost of power you
buy when the sun is not shining.
If you are a smaller user, off grid, we can include
an energy storage module to store excess energy for
your use when the sun is not shining, at an added cost.
Each square centimeter of surface
area on a sunny day receives about 1/10th of a watt
of solar energy.
Pure, first run, crystalline silicon costs $0.80 per
square centimeter. PV cells are no more than 18% efficient.
This means that solar PV systems built of first run,
crystalline silicon will generate power for no less
than $44 per watt!
Manufacturers who use lower-grade surplus amorphous
silicon can achieve $10 or less per watt, but their
total volume is limited by the availability of surplus
silicon rejected by the consumer electronics industry.
This limits the total production of cost-effective solar
plants.
Typical PV cells cannot absorb large amounts of sunlight
efficiently. But, we have developed a new type of PV
cell that can efficiently convert sunlight to electricity
at more than 2,000 times solar intensity. This means
that our cost per watt is far less than $1.00 - and
means we can sell you power at very competitive rates.
We sell power very competitively, not equipment! So,
you pay only for the power you receive, and we keep
all the headaches and complexity of making the solar
power for you.

our systems further!
